Hi , I am Amjath and I am sure that who ever seeing posts must be confused after completing your plus two studies.I have the same experiences like you had. So I wrote this posts to help student out.Most of them will think about selecting the right and suitable course for them only after completing plus two (10+2).You should select your course according your opinion and concern not any others.
With my experiences I have listed some of basic turning points in which you can check my other posts for their respective details.If I am putting medicine on number one list this does not mean medicine is right course for only select the course that match with your nature and talent and success will gradually follow you.Choosing the right stream most difficult task for student in science stream in searching right courses for career building.
Some are searching for academic courses and others are searching for professional courses.When they comes out of their school studies the question gradually arises that which course should i select? Which is best for me graduation and academic courses, diploma or degree offering courses, professional certificate courses ,For all those minds we are listed some courses that are offered by top universities and institutions around India.

1. Medicine
Those have keen interest in learning medicine and interest in becoming a doctor and treating people can opt for medicine course.A student joining this course must be ready work hard to clear the entrance and complete the course successfully.Those who have taking biology for their plus two stream are more considerable to this field. It is a very wide field and India is no exception it has collection of medical graduates in the country. Diverse fields like Ayurveda and Homoeopathy are alternatives which has their own qualities.Medicine is both traditional and modern form of process.It has an evergreen scope and future So if you have keen interest towards medicine field then you should select the diverging inter fields wisely

2. Engineering
Student those who have interest in taking technical and engineering career can opt for this course.Unlike any other courses engineering has attracted a huge share of coming blooms.It is a very wide category with new diciplines added according to the rapidly growing and developing technologies.Unlike medicine engineering completely technological studies Most commonly engineering is a 4 year bahelors degree. Which will be 6 years if the candidate choses for lateral entry with diploma course caertificate.Also scope of higher studies for this field are endless students can opt M.tech after B.tech and further on Ph.D etc.
Large number of students are appearing every year for various enginnering tests like, JEE MAIN,JEE ADVANCED,BITSAT ,VITEEE. Most among the joining applicants do not know about the wide range selectability of catagories in this field. Most commnly joined diciplines are CIVIL,MECHANICAL,COMPTER SCIENCE, ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION...etc.

Bachelor of science (B.sc) is one of the most poplar acdemic degreee among science students after class 12th.The duration of the course will be 3 years.Career in science is base degree which the students will get jobs in both public sector and private sectors with descent salaries.Jobs include mostly teaching,researches and so on.It is a graduate degree course in science stream both full time and part time courses are offered by many universities and institutes there are both simple commen b.sc courses like

4. Architecture
Architects designs and enginners buildings and infrastructure around the world. It is them whose reposible for any buildings health and efficeincy and also its design. They should also ensure it meents client's economical requirements. B.arch is tthe commn degree for becoming architect the students interested in become one will have to clear NATA aptitude test conducted by council of architects along with scores obtained in 12th standard.Most commonly it is a 5 year degree programme. A professional architect with experince has always great demand in India and abroad.
An experience in Interior designning is good asset for this career.
5. Commerse courses
Commerse is everywhere world lives in traffic of exchanges and profit losses,Big money are flowing mainly from share marketing field is a less known truth,which can be accured with a good knowledge and experience in bussiness and management.In this world of endless oppertunities career choices and selection is very tricky task.Candidates not likely to select the old traditional way of building their career.Now commece one of great oceans that has endless oppertunities in it once you kick starts a step to it.The traditional desciplines offered by commerce stream was only handful of banking jobs. But things has changed so far.Salary not at all a problem in this field once you gain some experience .Most common modern desciplines in commerce stream are,
Chartered Accountants
Company secratary
Loans executive
Stock broking.........etc
6. Art courses
If you feel you are creative then this field is for you. It includes various catogeries it is up to the joining candidate to select the appropriate shining course for him.
Fashion designing is a very popular one among the students. It have endless oppertunities once you realise you are trelly talented to this course.It is the understanding of various aspects and thinking creatively for new designs. There are many institutes offering this course.People have missunderstanding about this course with beatyparlors and. To their knowledge they far beyond the bove said.Also professions like Acting ,Dance, Animation, Grphics designing are other alternatives for catogories. other fields like mass communication and interior designgng also reside in this field. Which have bloomed within a few years in India.There are also Foreign language course (translators). So if you are interested in this stream must really do some research before joining.
7. Diploma courses
It's a usual thing that most of the student who has completed their 12th standard ,they choses for a bachelor's degree according to their stream they opted in their 11th level.But now new trends has emerged in the education field Now students sometimes choose some diploma courses that offers professional skills for the candidate only in the subject of specialisation.
Diploma couses lists are endless there is ocean of catogries out there. There are institutions that offers long terms diploma course and short term diploma courses.
Also after completing usual 3 years diploma courses candidates can laterally join other bachelors degrees or post graduation courses. Some of mostly seen diplomas are,
