WHY ALL CHOOSES ENGINEERING OR MEDICINE.

There is not much difference in mentality of selecting engineering or medicine course after plus two studies. Even there is slight difference in this behavior in past two years. But studies shows the is a majority of 70% of students who just opt for engineering or medicine. In Kerala there was only  19 engineering colleges in 2000, but in 2015 there are 161 engineering colleges in the state. With the growth of science there always good oppertunities and environments for the success of innovative and successfull engineers.

The industrialisation has offered many chances for engineering sector. Earlier there was only few engineering disciplines for students to choose , but now there are endless branches for engineering each with it's own scope. But the demand for core courses have a constant scope for the future.

In India there are 18lakh students studying engineering from 11000 institutions . And a 2 lakh students studying master M.tech degree in 3500 institutions . And a 12lakh students opting engineering diploma courses . The current job placement process prove that along with the degree the candidates must have good skills and confidents to succeed. Hard-work and self-confidents are two main factors for students to acquire .

ENSURE THE APPROVAL OF INSTITUTIONS.

While opting a career in engineering the candidate must have a knowledge of job oppertunities.  civil, mechanical, electrical, computer science, electronics are the core branches available in almost all engineering institutions. Students should be also very careful in selecting the right colleges.

The institution must need the approval of AICTE. For information reguarding the eligibility of your institute visit the official website  www.aicteindia.org

Across the state's 161 engineering colleges there are 46 different courses.
-Aeronautical
-Food technology
-Marine engineering
-Printing technology
-Automobile
-Fire and safety
-Biotechnology.......etc.

The basic courses offers maximum number of seats. Civil engineering with 10729 seats , Computer science with 13333 seats , Electronics with 9203 seats , Mechanical with 12057 seats , electronics with 13877 seats.

There was a time that all considered the engineering defines with civil, mechanical and electrical only. but now there are fields like Micro, nano technology .

INCREASING JOB OPPERTUNITIES.

The hike in real estate provides much scopes in the building sector. This is favourable for design engineers, civil engineers and architects. Civil sector has grown a lot by giving birth to sub catorgories like design-structure, interior , architecture etc.

This hike in civil sector has also helped the mechanical stream like the mechanical engineers are basic people whom can hired everywhere. The big massive machine concepts has changed and everything in this generation is remote sensing and handheld. All the work are being done by robotics in every industry . These are innovative machanical engineering marvels.

The automobile revolution in the country has given rise to automobile engineers a safe career. Now the country is crowded with MNCs with sports cars, luxury cars, and family cars. This is a result of the works done by automobile engineers in the planet.  Both automobile designing and servicing provides endless oppertnities for kick-starters.

The genius and logical IT sector has faced both hikes and cliffs in the past few years. But the programmes like start-up created a window for creative software experts a scope for developing there ideas. And once it get successfull the person behind it can become billioners. As stories of facebook and whatsapp proves us. A good IT professional will also be in a great demend . The student must know job behaviours in the IT field before opting this course.

For those students have craze in designing can opt for architecture. There are 24 colleges in Kerala that offers B.Arch degree  which has a span of 5-years for graduation. While engineering courses offers a 4- year duration only.
